Hadith 498

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نَا سُفْيَانُ، قَالَ: قُلْتُ: لِلْأَعْمَشِ: إِنَّ حُمَيْدًا يَقْرَأُ: { يَا زَكَرِيَّا } - جَزْمًا - فَأَعْجَبَهُ .
Sufyan (may Allah have mercy on him) said: I said to A'mash that Humaid recites it with certainty («يَا زَكَرِيَّا»), and A'mash liked this very much.
