Book of Tafsir (Quranic Exegesis)

 قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {وَإِنْ تُبْدُوا مَا فِي أَنْفُسِكُمْ أَوْ تُخْفُوهُ يُحَاسِبْكُمْ بِهِ اللهُ}، إِلَى قَوْلِهِ تَعَالَى: {فَانْصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ}

His saying, Exalted is He: {Whether you reveal what is within yourselves or conceal it, Allah will bring you to account for it.} To His saying: {So help us against the disbelieving people.}

Hadith 484

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نَا عَوْنُ بْنُ مُوسَى، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ الْمُغِيرَةَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ الْقُرَشِيَّ يَقُولُ: كَانَ يُقَالُ: تَعَلَّمُوا سُورَةَ الْبَقَرَةِ، فَإِنَّ أَخْذَهَا حَسَنَةٌ، وَتَرْكَهَا حَسْرَةٌ، وَلَا تُطِيقُهَا الْبَطَلَةُ، تَعَلَّمُوا الزَّهْرَاوَيْنِ: الْبَقَرَةَ، وَآلَ عِمْرَانَ .
Mughira bin Abdul Malik Qureshi (may Allah have mercy on him) said: It used to be said that learn Surah Al-Baqarah, for adhering to it is goodness and abandoning it is regret, and magicians cannot overcome it. Learn the two radiant ones: Surah Al-Baqarah and Aal-e-Imran.

Hadith Grading محدثین: سنده صحيح إلى المغيرة، لكنه هو مجهول، ومع ذلك لم يذكر من الذي قال هذا الذي ذكره. فإن كان يقصد النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فبينه وبينه مفازة؛ لأنه لم يُذكر حتى في التابعين.
