قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {وَإِنْ تُبْدُوا مَا فِي أَنْفُسِكُمْ أَوْ تُخْفُوهُ يُحَاسِبْكُمْ بِهِ اللهُ}، إِلَى قَوْلِهِ تَعَالَى: {فَانْصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ}His saying, Exalted is He: {Whether you reveal what is within yourselves or conceal it, Allah will bring you to account for it.} To His saying: {So help us against the disbelieving people.}
Hadith 478

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نَا خَالِدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ بَيَانٍ، عَنْ حَكِيمِ بْنِ جَابِرٍ قَالَ: قَالَ جِبْرِيلُ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: إِنَّ اللهَ قَدْ أَحْسَنَ عَلَيْكَ، وَعَلَى أُمَّتِكَ الثَّنَاءَ حِينَ نَزَلَتْ: { آمَنَ الرَّسُولُ بِمَا أُنْـزِلَ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ رَبِّهِ وَالْمُؤْمِنُونَ كُلٌّ آمَنَ بِاللهِ } فَسَلْ تُعْطَ، فَسَأَلَ: { لا يُكَلِّفُ اللهُ نَفْسًا إِلا وُسْعَهَا } حَتَّى خَتَمَ السُّورَةَ بِمَسْأَلَةِ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ .
Gabriel (peace be upon him) said to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him): Indeed, Allah has spoken good words to you and your ummah when this verse was revealed: "The Messenger has believed in what was revealed to him from his Lord, and [so have] the believers. All of them have believed in Allah..." So ask, and you will be given. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: «لَا يُكَلِّفُ اللَّهُ نَفْسًا إِلَّا وُسْعَهَا» until the surah was completed with the supplication of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
