قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {وَإِنْ تُبْدُوا مَا فِي أَنْفُسِكُمْ أَوْ تُخْفُوهُ يُحَاسِبْكُمْ بِهِ اللهُ}، إِلَى قَوْلِهِ تَعَالَى: {فَانْصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ}His saying, Exalted is He: {Whether you reveal what is within yourselves or conceal it, Allah will bring you to account for it.} To His saying: {So help us against the disbelieving people.}
Hadith 473

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نَا خَالِدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ - فِي قَوْلِهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: { وَإِنْ تُبْدُوا مَا فِي أَنْفُسِكُمْ أَوْ تُخْفُوهُ } - قَالَ: نَزَلَتْ فِي الشَّهَادَةِ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said regarding the verse: "And whether you disclose what is in yourselves or conceal it": This verse was revealed about testimony.
