قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {وَلا يَأْبَ الشُّهَدَاءُ إِذَا مَا دُعُوا}His saying, Exalted is He: {And let not the witnesses refuse when they are called.}
Hadith 461

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نَا شَرِيكٌ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ الْأَفْطَسِ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ قَالَ: الَّذِي قَدْ أُشْهِدَ وَلَيْسَ الَّذِي لَمْ يَشْهَدْ .
Saeed bin Jubair (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "The witness is the one who is present, not the one who is absent."
