قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {وَإِنْ كَانَ ذُو عُسْرَةٍ فَنَظِرَةٌ إِلَى مَيْسَرَةٍ}His saying, Exalted is He: {And if someone is in hardship, then [let there be] postponement until [a time of] ease.}
Hadith 454

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نَا خَالِدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا فِي قَوْلِهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: { وَإِنْ كَانَ ذُو عُسْرَةٍ فَنَظِرَةٌ إِلَى مَيْسَرَةٍ } -، قَالَ: ذَلِكَ فِي الرِّبَا .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) regarding the statement of Allah the Exalted: ﴿وَإِنْ كَانَ ذُو عُسْرَةٍ فَنَظِرَةٌ إِلَىٰ مَيْسَرَةٍ﴾ "And if the debtor is in hardship, then [let there be] postponement until [a time of] ease," that he said: "This verse was revealed concerning the matter of usury."
