Khaythamah bin Abi Khaythamah Al-Ansari Al-Basri, may Allah have mercy on him, says that a man was performing Tawaf and reciting Surah Yusuf, and people gathered around him. When he finished, he began to ask (beg). Hasan Al-Basri, may Allah have mercy on him, says: I was with Sayyiduna Imran bin Husain, may Allah be pleased with him, and he passed by that beggar, stopped, and listened to his recitation. When he finished and asked (begged), Sayyiduna Imran bin Husain, may Allah be pleased with him, said: "Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un!" Take us away from here. I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: Whoever recites the Qur'an, let him ask from Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, for a time will come when some people will recite the Qur'an and ask from people through it.
