حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ مَطَرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو حَرِيزٍ، عَنْ عَامِرٍ الشَّعْبِيِّ، قَالَ: «أَصَابَ الْمُسْلِمُونَ سَبَايَا مِنْ أَوْطَاسٍ فَنَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، عَنِ الْحَبَالَى أَنْ يُوطَأْنَ حَتَّى يَضَعْنَ حَمْلَهُنَّ، وَمَنْ لَمْ تَكُنْ حَامِلًا فَلْتَسْتَبْرِئْ بِحَيْضَةٍ»
It is narrated from Hazrat Aamir Sha'bi (may Allah have mercy on him): The Muslims brought slave girls from Autas. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "He forbade intercourse with pregnant women until they give birth, and the non-pregnant one's 'istibra' (waiting period) is by menstruation."
