Hadith 4094

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نَا خَالِدُ بْنُ يُونُسَ (1)، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ « أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَهْدَى إِلَى نَاسٍ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ إِلَى أَبِي سُفْيَانَ وَغَيْرِهِ، فَقَبِلَ هَدِيَّتَهُمْ » .
It is narrated from Hazrat Ikrimah (may Allah have mercy on him): The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) gave gifts to some polytheists, including Abu Sufyan. And they accepted the gift.
