حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا صَالِحُ بْنُ مُوسَى الطَّلْحِيُّ، قَالَ: نا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، وَأُمِّ إِسْحَاقَ ابْنَتَيْ طَلْحَةَ أَنَّهُمَا قَالَتْا: " جُرِحَ أَبُونَا يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ أَرْبَعَةً وَعِشْرِينَ جُرْحًا رُبِّعَ مِنْهَا رَأْسُهُ شَجَّةً مُرَبَّعَةً، وَقُطِعَ مِنْهُ نَسَاهُ عِرْقُ النَّسَاءِ، وَشَلَّتْ مِنْهَا أُصْبُعُهُ وَسَائِرُ الْجِرَاحَةِ فِي سَائِرِ جَسَدِهِ، وَقَدْ وَقَاهُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ الْغَلَبَةَ وَالْغَشْيَ، وَقَالَتَا: وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَكْسُورَةٌ رَبَاعِيَتُهُ، مَشْجُوجٌ فِي وَجْهِهِ وَقَدْ أَدْرَكَتْهُ تِلْكَ الْغَشْيَةُ، فَجَعَلَ طَلْحَةُ مُحْتَمِلًا بِهِ إِلَى الشِّعْبِ يَرْجِعُ بِهِ الْقَهْقَرَى، فَإِذَا أَدْرَكَهُ أَحَدٌ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ قَاتَلَ دُونَهُ حَتَّى أَسْنَدَهُ إِلَى الشِّعْبِ
Lady Aisha and Umm Ishaq bint Talha (may Allah be pleased with them) said: Our father (Talha bin Ubaidullah, may Allah be pleased with him) received twenty-four wounds in the Battle of Uhud, among which was a square-shaped wound on his head, his vein was cut due to which one of his fingers became paralyzed. He also saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) wounded and unconscious, so our master Talha (may Allah be pleased with him) took the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) backwards, retreating towards the mountain pass.
