Hadith 3911

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، عَنِ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ فِي الرَّجُلِ يُصِيبُ الْغَنِيمَةَ، فَيَتَفَرَّقُ الْجَيْشُ، قَالَ: «يَتَصَدَّقُ بِهِ عَنْ ذَلِكَ الْجَيْشِ»
Imam Hasan (may Allah have mercy on him) was asked: "If someone acquires spoils of war and the army disperses?" He replied: "He should give that wealth as charity on behalf of the army."
