حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ بُكَيْرِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ (1)، حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّهُمْ كَانُوا مَعَ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ حُدَيْجٍ فِي غَزْوَةٍ بِالْمَغْرِبِ فَنَفَّلَ النَّاسَ، وَمَعَنَا أَصْحَابُ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَلَمْ يَرْدُدْ ذَلِكَ أَحَدٌ غَيْرُ جَبَلَةَ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ .
Bukair bin Sulayman (may Allah have mercy on him) says: We were in a battle in the West with Sayyiduna Muawiyah bin Hudaij (may Allah be pleased with him). He distributed the spoils of war among the army, and the noble Companions were also present with us, but no one objected except Jabalah bin Amr Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him); he objected.
