Hadith 3856

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا هُشَيْمٌ، قَالَ: أنا أَشْعَثُ، عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ، قَالَ: «كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُضْرَبُ لَهُ سَهْمٌ مِنَ الْغَنَائِمِ شَهِدَ أَوْ غَابَ»
Ibn Sirin (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "A share of the spoils of war was fixed for the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), whether he was present in the battle or absent."
