حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنِ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ «أُتِيَ بِأُسَارَى فَقَسَمَهُمْ وَلَمْ يَقْتُلْ مِنْهُمْ أَحَدًا»
Some captives were brought to Sayyiduna Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him), so he distributed them but did not kill anyone.
