بَابُ غُسْلِ الشَّهِيدِ وَمَا يُكَفَّنُ فِيهِ مِنَ الثِّيَابِChapter on washing the martyr and the clothes in which he is shrouded
Hadith 3755

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: أنا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ مُغِيرَةَ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ: «يُنْزَعُ عَنِ الْقَتِيلِ الْفَرْوُ، وَالْمُوزَجَيْنِ، وَالِافَرَاهِيجَيْنِ، وَالْجَوْرَبَيْنِ، إِلَّا أَنْ يَكُونَ الْجَوْرَبَانِ يُكْمِلَانِ وِتْرًا فَيُتْرَكَانِ عَلَيْهِ، وَيُدْفَنُ فِي ثِيَابِهِ»
It is narrated from Ibrahim (may Allah have mercy on him) that the furwa (hairy garment), socks, soft shoes, and stockings should be removed from the martyr, except in the case where the stockings complete an odd number, then they should be left. And he should be buried in his own clothes.
