حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ، قَالَ عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ وَحَدَّثَنِي بَكْرُ بْنُ سَوَادَةَ: أَنَّ زِيَادَ بْنَ نَافِعٍ، حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ كَعْبٍ - وَكَانَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قُطِعَتْ يَدُهُ يَوْمَ الْيَمَامَةِ -: «أَنَّ صَلَاةَ الْخَوْفِ بِكُلِّ طَائِفَةٍ رَكْعَةٌ وَسَجْدَتَانِ» قَالَ عَمْرٌو: وَحَدَّثَنِي بَكْرُ بْنُ سَوَادَةَ أَنَّ شَيْخًا حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّهُمْ صَلَّوْا صَلَاةَ الْخَوْفِ يَوْمَ الْإِسْكَنْدَرِيَّةِ كَذَلِكَ مَعَ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ "
Sayyiduna Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him) said: We performed the prayer of fear with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) on the day of Yamama. With each group, one rak'ah and two prostrations. With Sayyiduna 'Amr bin al-'As (may Allah be pleased with him), we also performed the prayer of fear in the same manner in Alexandria.
