Brief Explanation
There is a break (inqita‘) in the chain of narration because "balaghani" means: the narration is mursal (disconnected) or munqati‘ (broken). When a Tabi‘i narrates by saying "balaghani" or "yuqal," it is not considered authoritative (hujjah) unless he relates it with a connected chain. This athar is weak in its chain (munqati‘), because Bakr ibn Sawadah narrated it as a balagh, meaning the intermediary is unknown.
Ruling on the text: The meaning of the athar is correct and wise: Islam, hijrah (migration), and jihad are those great gateways through which seeking good and fleeing from evil is possible. This statement is also in accordance with other authentic texts.
