Hadith 3471

أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدٌ، نا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَتَى أَبَا الشَّعْثَاءِ، فَقَالَ: إِنَّ ابْنِي يَمْنَعُنِي مَالَهُ، فَقَالَ: «خُذْ مِنْ مَالِهِ مَا يَكْفِيكَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ»
A man complained to Sayyiduna Abu Al-Sha’tha’ (may Allah have mercy on him) that his son does not give him his wealth, so he said: "Take from his wealth according to your need in a reasonable manner."
