It is narrated from Sayyiduna Hasan (may Allah have mercy on him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Every person has more right over his wealth than his children, his father, and all people."

Brief Explanation
Chain of narration: Mursal (weak in itself), but due to supporting evidences, it is Hasan li-ghayrihi. These words of the hadith: «أنت ومالك لأبيك» are narrated through several chains from different Companions: Jabir bin Abdullah (Sahih Ibn Majah, no. 2291), Abdullah bin Amr (Sunan Abi Dawud, no. 3530), Abdullah bin Mas'ud (al-Tabarani), Sa'd bin Abi Waqqas.
Imam Tirmidhi has declared some of these chains as "Hasan Sahih."
