أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدٌ، نا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الزُّهْرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو، عَنِ الْمُطَّلِبِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ حَنْطَبٍ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا جَاءَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ: إِنَّ لِي مَالًا وَوَلَدًا، وَلِأَبِي مَالٌ وَوَلَدٌ، يُرِيدُ أَنْ يَذْهَبَ بِمَالِي إِلَى مَالِهِ وَوَلَدِهِ، فَقَالَ: «أَنْتَ وَمَالُكَ لِأَبِيكَ»
A man said to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him): "Both my father and I have wealth and children, and he wants to spend my wealth on himself and his children." So the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "You and your wealth belong to your father."
