أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدٌ، نا هُشَيْمٌ، أنا يُونُسُ، وَهِشَامٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ، قَالَ: جِيءَ بِصِبْيَانٍ مِنَ السَّوَادِ مَاتَ أَبُوهُمْ، فَقَالَ شُرَيْحٌ: «خَيِّرُوهُمْ، فَلْيَكُونُوا مَعَ مَنْ أَحَبُّوا»
Hazrat Qazi Shurayh (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "When a father passes away, the children should be allowed to live as they wish."
