أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدٌ، نا هُشَيْمٌ، أنا يُونُسُ، وَابْنُ عَوْنٍ، وَهِشَامٌ، وَأَشْعَثُ بْنُ سَوَّارٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ، عَنْ شُرَيْحٍ، قَالَ: «الْأَبُ أَحَقُّ وَالْأُمُّ أَرْفَقُ»
Hazrat Qazi Shurayh (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "The father's right is greater, and the mother is more compassionate."
