أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدٌ، نا هُشَيْمٌ، أنا مُغِيرَةُ، عَنْ أُمِّهِ «أَنَّ خَالَتُهُ خَاصَمَتْهَا عَصَبَةُ وَلَدِهَا إِلَى شُرَيْحٍ فِي بِنْتٍ وَابْنٍ لَهَا، فَاخْتَارَتِ الِابْنَةُ أُمَّهَا وَاخْتَارَ الْغُلَامُ عَمَّهُ»
A woman filed a case before Qadi Shurayh (may Allah have mercy on him) regarding her nephew and niece, so the girl chose her mother and the boy chose his uncle.
