أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدٌ، نا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْتَشِرِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ مَسْرُوقًا، قَالَ لِجَارِيَتِهِ عِنْدَ مَوْتِهِ: «لَمْ أُصِبْ مِنْهَا إِلَّا حَرَّمْتُهَا عَلَى وَلَدِي اللَّمْسَ وَالنَّظَرَ»
Hazrat Masruq (may Allah have mercy on him) said to his slave-girl at the time of his death: "I have taken nothing from you, but I have made you forbidden by touch and sight to my children."
