أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدٌ، نا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ مُغِيرَةَ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، فِي رَجُلٍ تُوُفِّيَ وَهُوَ فِي بَيْتٍ بِأُجْرَةٍ، فَقَالَ: «أَحْسَنُ أَنْ تَعْتَدَّ فِي الْبَيْتِ الَّذِي كَانَ فِيهِ وَتُعْطِيَ الْأَجْرَ»
Ibrahim Nakha'i (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "A widow should spend her 'iddah in a rented house and she will have to pay the rent."
