أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدٌ، نَا خَالِدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ مُغِيرَةَ، عَنْ أُمِّ مُوسَى أَنَّ جَعْفَرَ بْنَ هُبَيْرَةَ (1)كَانَ « إِذَا أَهْدَى الْبِنْتَ مِنْ بَنَاتِهِ أَمَرَهَا بِصَالِحِ الْأَخْلَاقِ، وَكَانَ يَرَى ذَلِكَ حَسَنًا » .
Ja'far bin Hubayrah (may Allah have mercy on him) used to advise his daughters to have good character at the time of their departure (marriage), and he considered this a good deed.
