أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدٌ، نا هُشَيْمٌ، نا مُغِيرَةُ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أَنَّهُ كَانَ «لَا يَرَى بَأْسًا أَنْ يُهْدِيَ الرَّجُلُ إِلَى امْرَأَتِهِ فِي عِدَّتِهَا إِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَتَزَوَّجَهَا»
Ibrahim Nakha'i (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "If a man gives a gift to a woman during her waiting period (iddah) with the intention of marriage, there is no harm in it."
