أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدٌ، نا هُشَيْمٌ، أنا يُونُسُ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ أَنَّهُ كَانَ «لَا يَرَى مَا جَعَلَ الرَّجُلُ لِامْرَأَتِهِ عِنْدَ الْجِلْوَةِ شَيْئًا»
Hasan al-Basri (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "Whatever a man gives to his wife at the time of marriage, at the time of unveiling, has no significance."
