أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدٌ، نا شَرِيكٌ، عَنِ الشَّيْبَانِيِّ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، قَالَ: «يَبْدَأُ الْعَبْدُ بِالنَّفَقَةِ عَلَى امْرَأَتِهِ قَبْلَ غَلَّتِهِ لِمَوَالِيهِ»
Hazrat Sha'bi (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "A slave has precedence over his master's income in spending on his wife."
