Hadith 3330

أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدٌ، نا هُشَيْمٌ، نا مَنْصُورٌ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، فِي الرَّجُلِ يَقُولُ لِامْرَأَتِهِ: أَنْتِ عَتِيقَةٌ وَهُوَ يَنْوِي الطَّلَاقَ قَالَ: «هِيَ وَاحِدٌ وَهُوَ أَحَقُّ بِهَا»
Hasan al-Basri (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "If a husband says to his wife: 'You are free,' and intends divorce by it, then one divorce will be counted and the husband will have the right to take her back."
