Hadith 33

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ يَبْلُغُ بِهِ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: أُنْزِلَ الْقُرْآنُ عَلَى سَبْعَةِ أَحْرُفٍ، كُلُّهَا شَافٍ كَافٍ .
It is narrated from Amr bin Dinar (may Allah have mercy on him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The Qur'an was revealed upon seven letters (dialects), and all of them are healing and sufficient.
