Hadith 3299

أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدٌ، نا هُشَيْمٌ، أنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ الشَّعْبِيَّ، يَقُولُ: «يُقَامُ عَلَيْهَا الْحَدُّ، وَلَا يُلْتَفَتُ إِلَى ذَلِكَ مِنْهَا» قَالَ هُشَيْمٌ: وَهُوَ الْقَوْلُ
Hazrat Sha'bi (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "The hadd punishment will be carried out on the woman and her virginity will not be considered." Hisham said: "This is the correct opinion."
Brief Explanation
(1) Thus it is in the Dar edition, the Dar al-Salafiyyah edition in India, and perhaps the correct version is: (Isma'il ibn Salim), as is found in (Musnad Ibn al-Ja'd).
