Hadith 3279

أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدٌ، نا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي خَالِدٍ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، أَنَّهُ سُئِلَ عَنْ ذَلِكَ، فَقَالَ: «هُوَ أَحَقُّ بِهَا مَا لَمْ تَضَعِ الْآخَرَ إِنَّمَا هُوَ كَالْحَيْضِ»، ثُمَّ قَالَ: «يَا أَبَا حُصَيْنٍ اجْعَلْهَا فِي التَّخْتِ»
Hazrat Sha'bi (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "The husband has more right to the woman until another child is born; this is like menstruation." Then he said: "O Aba Husain! Include this in the bedding."
