It was asked from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) whether a slave woman in menstruation can go out wearing an izar (lower garment)? He replied: "Yes." And further said: "At that time, people were in need, now Allah has granted ease."

Brief Explanation
Benefit: (1) Slave woman (amah) and going out wrapped in a garment: A menstruating slave woman is permitted to go out wrapped in a cloth, meaning she cannot perform acts of worship (prayer/tawaf), but she may go out for presence in Hajj or rites, or for service and similar needs. (2) "There was a need among the people at that time": That is, previously, due to poverty, scarcity of clothing, and the need for service, even menstruating slave women were taken outside. This demonstrates the aspect of social necessity and practical concession. (3) Mujahid’s objection and Ibn Umar’s reaction: Mujahid said, "Now we have abundance" → meaning he considered this practice limited to the past. Ibn Umar said, "Leave me from you" → meaning: this is an established Sunnah and previous practice; do not try to replace it with your own rational speculation.
