أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدٌ، نا هُشَيْمٌ، أنا الْحَجَّاجُ، عَنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ «أَنَّهُ أَذِنَ لِغُلَامٍ لَهُ أَنْ يَتَسَرَّى، فَاشْتَرَى ثَلَاثَ جِوَارٍ ثَمَنُ أَلْفَيْنِ أَلْفَيْنِ»
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) bought three slave women for his servant so that he could have relations with them.
Brief Explanation
The chain is weak due to Hajjaj ibn Arta’ah, but the content is in agreement with the previous athar (2084), therefore this athar is “weak but capable of being strengthened,” and holds the status of a supporting evidence (shahid) in juristic reasoning.
