Hadith 3245

أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدٌ، نا هُشَيْمٌ، أنا مُجَالِدٌ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ أَنَّ رَجُلًا مِنْ كِنْدَةَ كَانَ يَغْشَى أَمَةً فَحَمَلَتْ، فَوَلَدَتْ عَلَى فِرَاشِهِ، فَهُنِّئَ بِالْوَلَدِ فَأَقَرَّ بِهِ ثُمَّ أَرَادَ أَنْ يَبِيعَ الْأَمَةَ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ، فَخَاصَمَتْهُ إِلَى شُرَيْحٍ، فَقَالَ لَهَا شُرَيْحٌ: «بَيِّنَتُكِ أَنَّكِ وَلَدْتِ عَلَى فِرَاشِهِ، وَأَنَّهُ أَقَرَّ بِوَلَدِكِ» فَأَتَتْ عَلَيْهِ الْبَيِّنَةَ بِذَلِكَ، فَأَلْحَقَ الْوَلَدَ بِهِ، وَقَالَ: «لَا سَبِيلَ لَهُ أَنْ يَنْتَفِيَ مِنْهُ»
Hazrat Sha'bi (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "A man from the Kindah tribe had relations with his slave woman, and a child was born from her. When he wanted to sell the slave woman, she filed a case with Shurayh, and Shurayh, on the basis of testimony, attributed the child to that man and said: Now there is no way for denial."
