Hadith 3240

أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدٌ، نا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، أَنَّ عُمَرَ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: «حَصِّنُوا هَذِهِ الْوَلَائِدَ، فَلَا يَطَأُ رَجُلٌ وَلِيدَتَهُ، ثُمَّ يُنْكِرُوا وَلَدَهَا إِلَّا أَلْزَمْتُهُ»
Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "Protect these slave girls, lest someone establishes relations with his slave girl and then denies her child. I will not prevent such a person from being attributed to the child."
