Hadith 3235

أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدٌ، نا هُشَيْمٌ، أنا دَاوُدُ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ الشَّعْبِيَّ، يَقُولُ: «إِذَا نَكَسَ فِي الْخَلْقِ الرَّابِعِ فَكَانَ مُخَلَّقًا انْقَضَتْ عِدَّةُ الْحُرَّةِ وَأُعْتِقَتْ بِهِ الْأَمَةُ»
Hazrat Sha'bi (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "When the creation of the fetus is completed in the fourth stage, the waiting period ('iddah) of a free woman is completed, and a slave woman becomes free because of her child."
