أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدٌ، نا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ مَسْرُوقٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، قَالَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ: «إِذَا وَلَدَتِ الْأَمَةُ مِنْ سَيِّدِهَا فَقَدْ أُعْتِقَتْ، وَإِنْ كَانَ سِقْطًا»
Sayyiduna Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "When a slave woman gives birth to her master's child, even if the child is miscarried, she will become free."
