Hadith 3227

أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدٌ، نا هُشَيْمٌ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، قَالَ: «أَعْتَقَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أُمَّهَاتِ الْأَوْلَادِ وَأُمَّهَاتِ الْأَسْقَاطِ»
Sayyiduna Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) freed the mothers of children born to their masters (umm al-walad) and the mothers of miscarried children.
