بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِي الْمُحِلِّ وَالْمُحَلَّلِ لَهُChapter on what is reported regarding the muhill (intervening husband) and the one for whom it is done
Hadith 3171

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ، نا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ مُغِيرَةَ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ: إِذَا كَانَ نِيَّةُ إِحْدَى الثَّلَاثَةِ: الزَّوْجِ الْأَوَّلِ أَوِ الزَّوْجِ الْآخَرِ أَوِ الْمَرْأَةِ أَنَّهُ مُحَلِّلٌ، فَنِكَاحُ هَذَا الْأَخِيرِ بَاطِلٌ، وَلَا تَحِلُّ لِلْأَوَّلِ "
Ibrahim (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "If any one of the three intends halalah, that is, the first husband, the second husband, or the woman, then the second marriage is invalid and the woman is not lawful for the first husband."
