بَابُ مَنْ طَلَّقَ امْرَأَتَهُ مَرِيضًا وَمَنْ يَرِثُهَاChapter on one who divorces his wife while ill and who inherits from her
Hadith 3143

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، فِي الرَّجُلِ يُطَلِّقُ امْرَأَتَهُ ثَلَاثًا فِي مَرَضِهِ قَالَ: «تَرِثُهُ مَا كَانَتْ فِي الْعِدَّةِ»
Hazrat Hisham bin Urwah (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates from his father that if someone gives his wife three divorces during illness, then if she is in her waiting period (‘iddah), she will receive a share in inheritance.
