بَابُ مَنْ طَلَّقَ امْرَأَتَهُ مَرِيضًا وَمَنْ يَرِثُهَاChapter on one who divorces his wife while ill and who inherits from her
Hadith 3142

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا هُشَيْمٌ، قَالَ: أنا مُغِيرَةُ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، وَالشَّعْبِيِّ، أَنَّهُمَا قَالَا فِي رَجُلٍ طَلَّقَ امْرَأَتَهُ وَاحِدَةً أَوِ اثْنَتَيْنِ وَهُوَ مَرِيضٌ، ثُمَّ مَاتَ قَالَا: «تَسْتَأْنِفُ عِدَّةَ الْمُتَوَفَّى عَنْهَا زَوْجُهَا وَتَرِثُهُ»
Ibrahim and Sha'bi, may Allah have mercy on them, say: "If someone gave one or two divorces during illness, then died, the wife will observe the waiting period of death and will inherit."
