بَابُ مَنْ طَلَّقَ امْرَأَتَهُ مَرِيضًا وَمَنْ يَرِثُهَاChapter on one who divorces his wife while ill and who inherits from her
Hadith 3141

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ مُغِيرَةَ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، وَالشَّعْبِيِّ، فِي رَجُلٍ طَلَّقَ امْرَأَتَهُ ثَلَاثًا فِي مَرَضِهِ، قَالَا: «تَعْتَدُّ عِدَّةَ الْمُتَوَفَّى عَنْهَا زَوْجُهَا وَتَرِثُهُ مَا كَانَتْ فِي الْعِدَّةِ»
Ibrahim and Sha'bi (may Allah have mercy on them) say: "If someone gives his wife three divorces during illness, the wife will observe the waiting period of death and will receive a share in inheritance."
