Hadith 3114

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، قَالَ: «إِذَا آلَى الرَّجُلُ فَمَضَتِ الْأَرْبَعَةُ الْأَشْهُرِ فَلَيْسَ عَلَيْهَا عِدَّةٌ»
It is narrated from Hazrat Jabir bin Zaid, may Allah have mercy on him, that if a person has taken an oath of Ila and four months have passed, then no 'iddah is obligatory upon the wife.
