بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِي الرَّجُلِ يُسْلِمُ وَعِنْدَهُ أَكْثَرُ مِنْ أَرْبَعِ نِسْوَةٍ، أَوْ أُخْتَانِChapter on what is reported regarding a man who accepts Islam while having more than four wives or two sisters

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا هُشَيْمٌ، قَالَ: أنا الْكَلْبِيُّ، عَنْ حُمَيْضَةَ بْنِ الشَّمَرْذَلِ، عَنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ، قَالَ: قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَسْلَمْتُ وَأَسْلَمْنَ مَعِي، هَاجَرْتُ وَهَاجَرْنَ مَعِي، قَالَ: «فَاخْتَرْ مِنْهُنَّ أَرْبَعًا» فَجَعَلْتُ أَقُولُ لِلَّتِي أُرِيدُ إِمْسَاكَهَا: أَقْبِلِي، وَلِلَّتِي أُرِيدُ فِرَاقَهَا: أَدْبِرِي، فَتَقُولُ: أَنْشُدُكَ الرَّحِمَ، أَنْشُدُكَ الْوَلَدَ قَالَ الْكَلْبِيُّ: وَثنا أَبُو صَالِحٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ.
Al-Harith bin Qais said: "I said: O Messenger of Allah! I have become Muslim and all of them migrated with me." The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Choose four from among them." I would say to the one I wanted to keep: "Come." And to the one I wanted to leave, I would say: "Step back." They would say: "I beseech you by mercy and children."
Brief Explanation
Explanation: Due to the presence of Kalbi in the chain of narration, the report is severely weak, rather even rejected. Humaida is also unknown (majhool). The narration contains detailed events that are not in accordance with other authentic reports, such as the saying of "Aqbili" and "Adbiri".
