Hadith 3032

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا هُشَيْمٌ، قَالَ: أنا يُونُسُ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ: «إِذَا كَانَ قَدْ وَطِئَهَا، ثُمَّ ظَاهَرَ مِنْهَا فَهُوَ ظِهَارٌ، وَإِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ وَطِئَهَا فَلَا ظِهَارَ عَلَيْهِ»
Hasan (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "If a man has had intercourse with his wife and then pronounces zihar, the zihar will take effect. But if he has not had intercourse, then zihar will not take effect."
