Hadith 3018

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ، نا هُشَيْمٌ، أنا حَجَّاجٌ، عَنْ مُهَاجِرِ بْنِ مِسْمَارٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ: " لَا يَجُوزُ أُمُّ الْوَلَدِ فِي كَفَّارَةِ الظِّهَارِ، وَلَا يَجُوزُ الْمُعْتَقَةُ عَنْ دُبُرٍ، قُلْتُ: فَمَا بَالُ الْمُعْتَقَةِ عَنْ دُبُرٍ لَا يَجُوزُ عِتْقُهَا قَالَ: «لِمَا يُخْتَلَفُ فِيهَا»
Ibrahim (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "In the expiation for zihar, the emancipation of an umm walad and a slave freed after death is not permissible." I asked: "What is the ruling regarding a slave freed after death?" He said: "Because of the difference of opinion in it."
