Hadith 3004

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ جَرِيحٍ، قَالَ: قِيلَ لِعَطَاءٍ وَأنا أَسْمَعُ: رَجُلٌ ظَاهَرَ مِنِ امْرَأَتِهِ، ثُمَّ أَصَابَهَا قَبْلَ أَنْ يُكَفِّرَ؟ قَالَ: «بِئْسَ مَا صَنَعَ»، فَقُلْتُ لِعَطَاءٍ: عَلَيْهِ حَدٌّ أَوْ شَيْءٌ مَعْلُومٌ؟ قَالَ: «يَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ ثُمَّ لِيَعْتَزِلْهَا حَتَّى يُكَفِّرَ»
Hazrat Ata (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "Whoever has intercourse after zihar has done a bad thing, and there is no hadd or any fixed punishment upon him; he should just seek forgiveness from Allah and pay the expiation."
