حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا هُشَيْمٌ، قَالَ: أنا مُغِيرَةُ، عَنْ إِبْرَهِيمُ، " أَنَّهُ كَانَ لَا يُوَقِّتُ فِي الظِّهَارِ وَقْتًا إِلَّا أَنْ يَقُولَ: إِنْ قَرَبْتُكِ وَأَنْتَ عَلَيَّ كَظَهْرِ أُمِّي، فَإِذَا قَالَ ذَلِكَ فَمَضَتْ أَرْبَعَةُ أَشْهُرٍ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَمَسَّهَا بَانَتْ بِإِيلَاءٍ "
Ibrahim (may Allah have mercy on him) did not set a specific time in the case of zihar, except if he said: "If I approach you and you become to me like the back of my mother, then if four months pass and he does not have intercourse, separation will occur through ila’."
